Message from Chairman Yoshimichi Mori

The form of training is glorious.

Kyokushin Karate places great importance on the content of the training. It starts with preparatory exercises, followed by "thrusting, hand-to-hand, uke, kicking, moving practice, kata and kumite". In short, the secret of Kyokushin's strength lies in the practice.
If you start to neglect this practice, you will be expelled from strength. That is why Kyokushin practice can be said to have an aura of light that radiates from the dojo students according to their lives. This practice gives the dojo student a guideline for living and teaches him how to become strong. In this way, glory and ideals can be attained. And the aim of Kyokushin training is to seek the way to glory through the body, where strength resides.

Now, as I myself get older, I do the same amount of practice rather than general practice, but I take as much time as possible to digest it. In this sense, I don't mind the fact that the content of my practice changes with age. Today I am going to give you a general explanation of practice. When you spend time practising, your body and mind seem to filter like fresh water. When you pay attention to the details of your practice, you will find that the practice is backed up byThis makes you stronger and more confident. I believe that my 50 years of practice have proven this.

By the way, the results of our training never falsify. As if this were proven, human resources are developed. In short, it means that the practice is not an empty theory. I myself am moved when I see dojo students practising. I also receive energy from the dojo students. In this sense, I am always interested in what is going on in the dojo, and I feel that I am training with them. The practice scene brings about a change of heart for me. It is strange because when I am with the dojo students practising, I am filled with power and glory, and I also feel that I will never die.

In conclusion, training in the dojo is where dojo students sweat together with a desire to improve. That is why the dojo is an important and sacred place. Sacredness in this sense should be emphasised, as it is the family where the dojo students come together. And the dojo students are supposed to keep to the designated place and time and devote themselves to the training. That is why training with the Kyokushin spirit is required and should be enshrined as a solid tradition. This is the form of the Tezuka Group's training.

That is why we are not forced to practise, but respond willingly and from the heart. In this way, you can receive a lot of Kyokushin spirit, regardless of your status, honour or economic power. In short, it is only whether you are willing or not that determines whether you will be glorified or not. In the end, practice demonstrates that if you keep practising, you will have a wonderful spirit in your body.
