Thanks to President Tezuka for pioneering the path of Kyokushin.

The World Congress is coming up next March.
We have blogged many times about the World Congress being President Tezuka's wish and will.
The President has called together a number of leaders to ensure that this World Congress can be a successful event.
Master Kawasaki, who is in Fukuoka and has the contacts to make the congress feasible, is the star of the show.
Not only that, but Master Ito is in control of the world,
Master Sugihara uses IT to handle everything from managing the athletes' roster to public relations.
The management of the finances is done by Master Sugano, a tax accountant,
It is Master Miyagi who conducts these audits.
So the 16 branches across the country are responsible for domestic mobilisation.
Mrs Tezuka, who has shared many hardships with the President, will also be the face of the conference.
It was Chairman Tezuka who was very insightful and responsive in organising this conference.
The fact that He has brought together a group of people who are blameless inspires me.
It is natural to feel a sense of respect and reverence while writing the blog.
I think He commands and entrusts us with all things from the other world.
This is all the more reason to remember the twenty-odd years we spent together with Chairman Tezuka.
Looking back, it was Chairman Tezuka who brought together leaders from Japan and around the world.
He has encouraged us and kept us lively and on this path of Kyokushin.
He made it possible for us to walk with the flame of life burning in us, even on such an arduous path of extreme truth.
Of course, the World Championships are a competition, so rankings are also determined.
It is a great personal honour.
Not only that, but it not only pleases the mind and body of each individual, but also connects Japan and the world.
This situation should manifest itself as joy throughout the tournament.
It is a manifestation of the Tezuka Group being a family, as Chairman Tezuka used to say before his death.
It means that what the President has been demanding will be realised at this World Congress.
The very young ones will take over and conduct this competition, but they may be pitied, so we ask that you make it a good outcome.
We can only hope that glory will appear over the Tezuka Group.
That is how I feel today.
At all costs, it is about making the World Championships different and more important than ever before, not just about winning and losing.
I would very much like to encourage the entire master to put his/her mind to it and work from the mobilisation of a large number of players.
We want to bring together the Kyokushin spirit so that we can make this the best possible celebration.
The convention brings together all ethnic groups.
It will be a competition in which humanity will be represented.
It is about opening the gates of family and making it a memorable convention.
Even at this time, my mind is still mainly cast away from the World Championships.
It is my wish that every day I will be able to fulfil the promises I made to Chairman Tezuka.
I do my best to be mindful that my feelings do not escape this awareness.
We can only hope that you will fulfil the role that President Tezuka wants you to play above all leaders.
