2025 - 4th Kyokushin Tezuka Cup World Karatedo Championships

Dear Sir or Madam, I wish you all the very best for the future.
The Group is planning to hold its fourth World Karatedo Championships on the following dates.
Details of the conference and other information will be available on the web (https://karate-tezuka.net/), but first of all, here are the dates.
Although the official registration for the tournament will start on 1 August 2024, we have already received a large number of participation declarations, and we expect the tournament to be very active. For the first time in its history, the event will be held at two venues, making it easier for participants from all over the country and the world to attend and compete.
We understand that this is a busy time for you, but we hope that you will be able to join us.
Yoshimichi Mori, Chairman of the International Karatedo Federation Sohonbu Kyokushinkaikan Tezuka Group.

Aims and details of the World Karatedo Championships.

This is the fourth time that the World Congress has been held. We would like to thank everyone for their cooperation.
This World Championships is positioned as the pinnacle tournament to determine the strongest in the world of karate. We will organise and manage the World Championships as a suitable event for the world's best karate practitioners to gather.

It will also be run as a suitable conference for people from all over the world to gather, exchange and harmonise.
For this reason, this year's tournament is divided into three classes - Challenge Class, Standard Class and Championship Class - according to grade and weight, so that even beginners can participate and still be able to compete to determine the best of the best.
*Only "Challenge Class and Standard Class" are open to non-Japanese competitors.

The championship classes for general men and women (true world championships) were held exclusively at one venue (Fukuoka), adding a new element that will set the standard for future competitions.
The aim of the competition is not only to win or lose, but also to use it as an opportunity to pursue the essential qualities of body and mind, including civility, and to realise character development through karatedo.
